Sterling silver moving ring with saphiret

Saphiret is a rare type of glass that was produced in the town of Gablonz, Czechoslovakia in the early part of the 20th century.

It’s distinctive colour tones are created by fusing gold with a sapphire coloured blue glass. The technique creates a beautiful fusion of colours in varying brown and blue tones.

this one gemstone is from a dead stock of the Czech production that’s doesn’t exist anymore, I got it through a specialised beads shop in Germany.
